“The HLSF Scholarship is an important recognition of each of the recipients’ hard work and dedication to law school and our community. However, it does come with some strings attached! Inherent in each scholarship is a lifelong obligation of the recipient to “pay it forward”. There is not a lawyer practicing today who has achieved his/her successes without the help of another person. So to each and every recipient, whenever you are in a position to help, do so! Whether through monetary donations to HLSF or pro bono work, you can make a difference in someone’s life. “PAY IT FORWARD””
