Ms. Laura Padilla is a third-year law student at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Georgetown University. Ms. Padilla aspires to become a civil litigator and to utilize her legal education as a tool to advocate for and empower marginalized communities. She plans to use the HLSF scholarship to fund her bar exam expenses. After graduation, she will join Tristan & Cervantes, a boutique law firm specializing in labor and employment and commercial litigation.
