Mr. Simon Hernandez is a third-year law student at DePaul University College of Law. He received his bachelor’s degrees in Law and Society and Spanish from Purdue University. Mr. Hernandez aspires to use his law degree to promote health equity by improving access to care and ensuring that healthcare systems operate fairly to underserved communities. He plans to use the HLSF scholarship to help pay for his bar preparation. He will spend the summer preparing to take the July bar exanimation.
