Ms. Mari Hernandez is a second-year law student at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Science in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University and her Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education. With her law degree, Ms. Hernandez aspires to advocate for underrepresented students in public school systems, as well as for students with disabilities and their right to special education. She plans to use the HLSF scholarship to help cover tuition. This summer, she will work at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Chicago as a summer associate in their Corporate Practice Group.
