Ms. Ruby M. Valle is a third-year law student at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology, Law and Justice from the University of Illinois Chicago. Ms. Valle is passionate about public interest and aspires to serve the communities that she grew up in as a public servant. She plans to use the HLSF scholarship to help cover bar exam preparation expenses. This summer, she will sit for the Illinois bar exam before joining the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office to commence her legal career.
