Ms. Marisa Gonzalez-Mabbutt is a second-year law student at The University of Chicago Law School. She received her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Brigham Young University. Ms. Gonzalez hopes to pursue a legal career that is enriched by her experience with Latin American politics and economics and helps foster and strengthen international business throughout the world. In future, she aspires to use her law degree to embolden Latinx-owned businesses in her local community. She plans to use the HLSF scholarship to cover tuition and other law school expenses. This summer, she will work at Sidley Austin LLP as a summer associate.
