Maria Carolina Gomez
Maria Carolina is a first year law student at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Philosophy. Maria Carolina is a passionate advocate for change in immigration law and policy. She has worked in a variety of legal positions for the past five years that demonstrate her strong commitment to a legal career in immigration law. The HLSF scholarship will provide the financial support necessary to continue pursing her goal of becoming an immigration attorney. This summer she will be working at Law Offices of Martinez, Nguyen & Magaña, Inc. focusing on immigration law.
