Ms. Lizbeth Avilés is a third-year law student at DePaul University College of Law, where she served as the President of the Latino Law Student Association. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Economics from DePaul University. Ms. Avilés aspires to become a corporate transactional attorney with her law degree while continuing to invest in her community and serve as a mentor to underrepresented students. She plans to apply the HLSF scholarship towards her preparation for the bar exam. This fall, she will work at Benesch as a first-year associate.
