Mr. Kyle Melatti is a first-year law student at The University of Chicago Law School. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Duke University. Mr. Melatti aspires to become a public servant after spending the first part of his career at a law firm. He especially desires to create more opportunities for first-generation Americans to access higher education. He plans to use the HLSF scholarship to help alleviate the burden of his near-fully-financed degree and make his path to public service easier. This summer, he will work at Jones Day’s Chicago Office as a Summer Associate and at the Nevada Attorney General’s Office as a Summer Intern.
