Mr. Jesus Meraz is a second-year law student at University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Illinois State University and his MBA from the University of Illinois at Chicago – Liautaud Graduate School of Business. Mr. Meraz aspires to become a labor and employment attorney and hopes to later serve in the U.S. Air Force JAG Corp Reserves. He plans to use the HLSF scholarship to cover the cost of summer expenses, including tuition, transportation and housing for his summer internship in North Dakota. This summer, he will work at the U.S. Air Force JAG Corp as a summer law clerk.
