Mr. Cruz Rodriguez is a third-year law student at the Loyola University Chicago School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from DePaul University. Mr. Rodriguez aspires to use his law degree as a tool for social justice. He is passionate for civil rights litigation and immigration law. He plans to use the HLSF scholarship to pay for the Illinois bar exam application and support him throughout his bar studies. This summer, he will continue working at a civil rights law firm supporting litigation against police misconduct and wrongful deaths under custody.
