Ms. Agueda Garcia is a third-year law student at the University of Illinois at Chicago Law School. She received her bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Religion from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Ms. Garcia aspires to practice intellectual property law and give back to non-profits that have impacted her life. She plans to use the HLSF scholarship to cover her bar exam preparation expenses. The scholarship will allow her to leave her part-time job and focus on studying for the bar exam this summer and preparing to start her legal career.
