
Ms. Vivien Castillo is a third-year law student at the University of Illinois College of Law. She received her bachelor’s degrees in Religious Studies and Psychology from the University of Chicago. Ms. Castillo hopes to work in public interest and continue the fight for the rights of LGBTQ+ persons, reproductive rights, and worker’s rights. She plans to use the HLSF scholarship to supplement bar expenses this summer. After the bar exam, Ms. Castillo will be working at the Illinois Attorney General’s Office in their Worker’s Compensation Bureau in Chicago.
