Ms. Vianey Cabrales is a second-year, part-time law student at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law and a full-time legal assistant at McDonald’s Corporation. She received her bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology and Criminal Law and Justice from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and is a first-generation college graduate and law student. Ms. Cabrales aspires to use her law degree to advance the interests of Latinos, women, and underserved communities at large. The HLSF scholarship will help her manage the costs of her legal studies. This summer, she will participate in an externship at McDonald’s focusing on Data Privacy and Labor and Employment issues.
