Mr. Sergio Hernandez Jr. is a second-year law student at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology from Valparaiso University. Sergio aspires to become a litigator to help underrepresented communities. He plans to use the HLSF scholarship to pay for textbooks and tuition. This summer, he will work at Georges & Synowiecki Ltd., performing immigration-related work.
