Ms. Sarah Cartagena is a third-year law student at DePaul University College of Law. She received her Master of Public Administration with a focus in Human Rights and Social Justice from Cornell University and her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Ms. Cartagena aspires to become a civil litigation attorney. She also hopes to leverage her legal experience to advocate for equity and justice within the Latino community. She plans to use the HLSF scholarship to help manage the costs of taking the bar exam. After the bar exam, she will be joining Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan & Aronoff LLP.
