Ms. Rubí Gonzales is a first-year law student at Northwestern Pritzker School Of Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at El Paso. Ms. Gonzales aspires to work at a large law firm for several years, creating more opportunities for women of color to enter the Big Law space. She then plans to transition into immigration law, using her legal expertise to give back to her community. She intends to use the HLSF scholarship to ease the financial burden of her studies by covering the cost of books and tuition. This summer, she will join Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP as a 1L summer associate.
