Rodrigo Anzures-Oyorzabal
Rodrigo is a first-year law student at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. He graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics. He plans to become a child law attorney in Chicago, helping youth of color assert their rights against government institutions. Rodrigo’s dedication to underserved, diverse populations and youth are beyond evident with his impressive history of community service in those communities. He plans to use the HLSF scholarship to help pay for tuition, lowering his debt burden and allowing him to more freely pursue work opportunities after law school. This summer, he will work at Lawndale Christian Legal Center representing youth in criminal and delinquency proceedings in Cook County.
