Mr. Joseph Pablo Strom is a third-year law student at Chicago-Kent College of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Political Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Mr. Strom hopes to use his law degree to advance the civil rights of marginalized workers and support the public interest community. He plans to use the HLSF scholarship to cover living expenses while he forgoes work to study for the bar exam this summer. This fall, he will begin work at Equip for Equality as a Skadden Fellow with a specialized project advocating for disabled Illinoisans at the intersection of employment and technology.
