Ms. Elizabeth Serrano is a third-year, part-time evening law student at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminology, Law, and Justice. Ms. Serrano aspires to be an intellectual property attorney specializing in trademark and copyright law. She is devoted to advancing the interests of the Latino community by mentoring current first-year law students. Ms. Serrano plans to use the HLSF scholarship to cover the cost of her bar exam application and preparation course. This summer, she will be studying for the Illinois bar exam before starting her career as an intellectual property attorney.
