Daihana is a third-year law student at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she actively serves the community and leads the Immigrants’ Rights Coalition group. She also serves as the National Secretary for the Hispanic National Bar Association, Law Student Division and National Student Liaison for the American Bar Association, Hispanic Commission. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. Daihana’s personal experiences influenced her commitment to supporting the immigrant community and pursuing a law degree. She is currently interning at the American Bar Association’s Office of the General Counsel. Daihana was a HLSF scholarship recipient in 2020 and HLSF’s continued support in 2021 will allow her to pursue post-graduate employment opportunities. HLSF proudly welcomes this future Latina lawyer to its network and the overall community of Latino lawyers.
