Carlos is a first-year law student at Loyola University Chicago School of Law and interested in pursuing a career in corporate law. After his freshman year of college, he became an entrepreneur by marketing, selling, and managing his own painting services company. To continue building his business acumen, Carlos interned and worked full time at Arthur J. Gallagher in Chicago. There he learned various aspects of growing a business and managing client needs, as well as found his desire to become a trusted legal advisor to clients. This summer, Carlos will be working as an associate at Calfee, Halter, & Griswold, a corporate law firm, in Cleveland, Ohio. The HLSF scholarship will help Carlos with the costs of pursuing his legal education and he is excited to grow meaningful relationships within the Illinois Latino legal community. HLSF proudly welcomes this future Latino lawyer to its network and the overall community of Latino lawyers.
