Ricardo is a second-year law student at Chicago-Kent College of Law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, Media, and Theater, cum laude, from Northeastern Illinois University. Ricardo is interested in copyright and entertainment law and enjoys volunteering and giving back to the community. He has volunteered with the New Orleans Public Defenders, National Immigrant Justice Center, and The Resurrection Project, among others. Ricardo discovered a passion for pro bono work while in law school. Thanks to the HLSF scholarship, Ricardo will be able to take an unpaid externship and gain further exposure to private practice at Daniel P. Costello & Associates.
