Ms. Serenity Torres is a second-year law student at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Ms. Torres aspires to practice transactional employment law with her law degree by counseling business to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. She also hopes to continue pro bono work with organizations like Legal Aid Chicago. She plans to use the HLSF Scholarship to pay her law school tuition. This summer, she will work at Littler Mendelson, as a summer associate performing labor and employment transactional work.
