Ms. Joshlyn Soto is a second-year law student at Chicago-Kent College of Law. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University. Ms. Soto aspires to become a trial attorney and serve her community, particularly underrepresented populations. With her law degree, she aims to ensure equitable access to justice and give a voice to those who feel they do not have one. She plans to use the HLSF scholarship to help pay for her law school education. This summer, she will work at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office as a 711 Intern.
