Mr. Sergio Hernandez Jr. is a third-year law student at University of Illinois Chicago School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a concentration in Criminology from Valparaiso University. Mr. Hernandez aspires to practice real estate and tax law while using his law degree to support Latino voices in the legal profession. He plans to use the HLSF scholarship to cover bar exam costs for classes and commuting. This summer, he will continue his real estate venture and gain hands-on experience in contract and property law.
