Ms. Josette Soto is a second-year law student at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Merced. Ms. Soto aspires to empower her community and future Latina lawyers by serving as a legal resource. In the future, she hopes to become a change agent by working as a government attorney. She plans to use the HLSF scholarship to pay for her housing costs while in law school. This summer, she will work at D.Law focusing on labor and employment matters.
